Information collected by Alimex

Information entered on our website or given to us in any way is collected and stored in our system. This information is collected in accordance with the provision of Internet services such as Domain name registration, Hosting or SSL Certificate issuance. We collect personal information about you, known as identifying information, only when you voluntarily provide it, and we will use it only for the purposes it is provided to fulfill.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ("ICANN"), an organization that assumes responsibility for domain name allocation, requires information about you during the domain name registration process. The information includes: name, address, phone number, fax and email address.

When you register a domain name with Alimex, we may require you to provide credit card number and billing address. Financial information such as the above is collected during the domain name registration, hosting or certificate order process.

Alimex collects contact information to be able to identify and communicate with its clients. We may preserve the content of the e-mails you send to us, your e-mail address and our responses, so that we can better support you and respond to your eventual questions. We will also preserve any information required by law in order to meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Sharing of information

It is required by ICANN that your name, address, phone number, fax and email address together with the creation and expiration dates of your domain name registration and the nameserver information associated with your domain name, be made available to the public via an interactive Web page and a "port 43" WHOIS service. Please note that Alimex may not control how members of the public may use the Whois information. Alimex may provide additional Value Added Services (VAS) to you such as ID Shield to help you keep your information private.

Apart from sharing the information needed to provide you with the services your request, we do not share your contact information with any third company, person or organization, except if required by law, and we do not profit in any way from the distribution of personal data.

Sites Other than Alimex websites

Alimex will not be responsible for content or privacy policies of other Web Sites such as advertisers we may link to or those which link to our site. This Privacy Policy is only responsible for the information collected on Alimex’s sites.

Information security

It is your sole responsibility to protect any information you transmit over the Internet. Note that the decision to send an e-mail via the Internet is your responsibility.
